Ageing of Overdrafts Report

Loan Performer gives a period report showing the age of all overdraft balances broken down by clients and overdraft date. In LPF the Aging of Overdraft Report analyses the overdraft according to predefined categories of current, thirty days, sixty days, ninety days and over ninety days.

Note that:
Unlike the Ageing Loan Portfolio report which shows amount in arrears broken down into the different user-defined periods and evaluates the incomes delayed by the missed payments, the Aging of Overdraft Report shows the ages of the active overdrafts the institutions has given out as at a given date and enables the institution to evaluate the overdraft utilization by different age groups as defined above.

How to view the Aging of Overdraft Report

To get here, go to Savings\Overdrafts\Aging of Overdraft Report. A screen will appear looking as follows:

• Overdraft Ageing Analysis as at: Specify the Reporting date, e.g., "25/11/2020". Only over drafts active by this date will be reported on.
• Report Currency: From the drop down menu select the currency in which the report will appear, e.g., "UGX".
• Branch Code: Choose the Branch Code from the drop-down or tick the Check for all check-box to include all Branches.
• Specify the client type to report on i.e Individual, Groups or Business.

Select any other required additional options or use the default selections. For additional information on these options you can refer to Overdrafts Report Formats.

Click on the OK command button to view the report which will look similar to the following:

Click on the Close command button to exit the menu.
